Our Mission

The mission of the Adjutant General's Department is to provide the Governor and the President with ready trained forces in support of the citizens of Texas, and state and federal civil/military autorities at home and abroad. We seek to accomplish our mission by:

Actively recruiting, educating and training personnel, including service members and civilian support; Partnering as appropiate with other governmental entities, including local, state and federal entities and when requested other states; ensuring effective and strategic use of public resources; and, striving for continous improvement in all areas of service and support
